Personas¶
This domain's own view of personas named in feature-sets/, improvements/, and
debt/ entries here — how each shows up in Core HR specifically. The canonical
general classes (Employee, Manager, HR Operations, System Admin) and the
differentiation model live in skills-product/personas.md; don't restate that
framework here. Add to this file only once a real Feature Set or Feature actually
names a persona — don't invent one speculatively.
HR Operations / HR Ops¶
The org-level HR admin/generalist who owns compliance and process completion. For offboarding specifically: has no single tracked record to work from or audit against — access revocation, asset return, final pay, and benefits termination happen ad hoc across systems with no way to prove after the fact that every required step actually completed for a given departure.
See feature-sets/employee-offboarding/concept.md. For guest-console-preboarding: also owns the deterministic task engine, recruiter hand-off/ATS readiness, and the HR-Ops-facing half of contingent-worker contract renewal — see feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/hr-admin-deterministic-transactions/spec.md.
New Hire / Candidate¶
Differentiation of the Employee general class. For guest-console-preboarding: an external, not-yet-employed person completing pre-boarding — receives generic document packs by email today with no single place to view, sign, or upload, and no way to confirm HR received what they sent. Access to the Guest Console is gated and time-bound, unlike an existing employee's normal platform access.
See feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/new-hire-preboarding-console/spec.md.
Contingent Worker¶
Differentiation of the Employee general class. For guest-console-preboarding: a contractor on an Ateko-led project who receives an Ateko identity and completes pre-boarding scoped to contractor policy through the same gated console; also the persona for contract-renewal re-entry when an engagement nears its end date. Distinct from a regular new hire in that pre-boarding recurs at renewal, not just once.
See feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/new-hire-preboarding-console/spec.md.
Recruiter¶
Differentiation of the HR Operations general class. For guest-console-preboarding: hands a candidate off to Novaworks today with no structured way to pass candidate-specific context (accommodation needs, unique offer terms, sensitivities) — that context is lost after the offer. This Feature Set stands up the structured field and endpoint for that hand-off ahead of the ATS integration that will populate it.
See feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/hr-admin-deterministic-transactions/spec.md.
Manager (guest-console-preboarding)¶
Phase 2 — out of MVP scope. Named in the Preboarding Guest Console PRD as a consumer of readiness visibility, but the full Manager workspace/dashboard is scoped in a separate PRD (Manager Workspace PRD v0.2) and excluded from this Feature Set per PM direction — see feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/concept.md.
HRBP (guest-console-preboarding)¶
Phase 2 — out of MVP scope. Named in the Preboarding Guest Console PRD as a consumer of readiness visibility and proactive nudges, but the HRBP Workspace PRD v0.4's capabilities are excluded from this Feature Set per PM direction — see feature-sets/guest-console-preboarding/concept.md. Distinct from the offboarding HRBP entry below, which is in scope for employee-offboarding.
HRBP¶
HR-practitioner-adjacent, not team-lead — differentiates from the Manager
general class per skills-product/personas.md's reassessment note; homed here
under HR Operations instead, consistent with how specs-superagent already
treats this persona. For offboarding specifically: drives the termination
conversation, exit interview, and manager coordination, but has no guided
workflow to run that process against — today it's ad hoc, coordinated by memory
and side channels rather than a tracked flow.
See feature-sets/employee-offboarding/concept.md.
